Grant writing for nonprofits shouldn't be this hard

Nearly 1.9 million nonprofit organizations compete for funding from roughly 100,000 funders. Most small nonprofits rely on just one or two people to find grants, write grant proposals, and manage the entire grant application process. A single federal grant application can take 30 to 200 hours — and the majority end in rejection.

Why GrantParty exists

Over the past year, I got deeply involved in my local community, volunteering, attending events, sitting in on board meetings. What I saw was striking: small nonprofits doing extraordinary work for underserved people, stretching every dollar to its limit. Food banks, youth programs, housing initiatives. Real impact. Real lives changed.

But they were chronically underfunded. I realized it was because finding and winning grants required resources they didn't have. The organizations doing the most important work often had the least capacity to chase the funding that could sustain it. I saw a vicious cycle.

I went on a mission to understand exactly what they were struggling with. I talked with executive directors, development staff, program managers, and grant writers. The answer was consistent: grant seeking is a full-time job layered on top of an already full-time job, and the tools that exist are either too expensive or not built with their struggles in mind.

So I built GrantParty, specifically to close that gap. The chronic underfunding of small nonprofits is a problem that technology can solve. And I'm here to solve that problem.

Grant management tools to help your nonprofit find and win funding

From grant discovery to funder relationships to grant application writing — seven tools that turn grant seeking from a time sink into a competitive advantage for nonprofit organizations.

1

Search grants across every funding level

Searches federal grants, state grants, county, city, community, foundation, and corporate funding sources simultaneously — covering thousands of grant opportunities most small nonprofits don't have time to find on their own.

2

Match grants to your nonprofit's mission

Smart matching scores each grant opportunity against your mission, geography, programs, budget, and eligibility — so you only spend time on funding sources with real potential.

3

Track grant deadlines automatically

Filters out expired grants and surfaces upcoming funding opportunities with approaching deadlines, so you're never scrambling at the last minute or missing application windows.

4

Write grant applications and LOIs faster

Once you find a match, draft a Letter of Intent or grant proposal right from the grant detail page — no switching tools or starting from scratch.

5

Research your competitive landscape

See which organizations are competing for the same funding and what funders are supporting in your program area, so you can position your grant proposals more strategically.

6

Save reusable content and pull it into any application

Store your nonprofit's key content — mission statements, program descriptions, financials, organizational history — and pull it into any grant application instantly.

7

Manage funder relationships and contacts

Build funder profiles with contact information, then track every interaction, note, and touchpoint in one place — so your whole team stays aligned and your board stays informed.

Funder relationship management for nonprofits

Winning grants is about relationships, not just applications. GrantParty gives your nonprofit team a shared system to cultivate funders — so nothing falls through the cracks and your board always has the full picture.

Funder profiles with full context

See every funder's giving history, priorities, contacts, and past interactions in a single view. No more digging through email threads or spreadsheets.

Log every interaction

Calls, emails, meetings, site visits — your team logs touchpoints as they happen, building an institutional memory that doesn't walk out the door when staff turns over.

Tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups

Assign follow-up tasks, set reminders for cultivation touchpoints, and never let a warm funder relationship go cold because someone forgot to call back.

Keep your board in the loop

Give board members visibility into your funding pipeline and funder relationships without forwarding spreadsheets. Everyone sees the same source of truth.

What is GrantParty?

GrantParty is grant management software built for nonprofit organizations. It combines grant discovery, grant matching, grant application writing, funder relationship management, and deadline tracking in a single platform — replacing the patchwork of spreadsheets, email threads, and disconnected tools that most small nonprofits rely on today.

Unlike enterprise grant management systems designed for large organizations with dedicated grants departments, GrantParty is built for small nonprofits where one or two people handle everything — from finding funding opportunities to writing proposals to managing funder relationships. Executive directors, solo development professionals, program managers, and nonprofit consultants use GrantParty to find more grants, apply faster, and win more funding.

GrantParty searches for grants across all 7 funding levels — federal grants, state grants, county programs, city and municipal funding, community foundations, private foundations, and corporate giving programs. It uses AI to match each opportunity against your nonprofit's mission, geography, programs, budget, and eligibility, so you only spend time on grants with real potential. When you find a match, you can draft a Letter of Intent or grant proposal directly in the platform, pulling from your saved content library of mission statements, program descriptions, and organizational history.
